Hi All,

I am new to this network...Having had a look to all the softwares, fees appear to be thorny...!
There is Rapidminer at http://rapid-i.com

I have REALLY learnt data mining thanks to this software, because with WEKA it was a bit tedious. Hope you will enjoy, just tell me...

Best regards,
Jean-Charles.

Thank you, Jean-Charles, for this information. I've just downloaded my own copy. As a seasoned user of Enterprise Miner and Clementine (and a tester of Insightful Miner) I really anticipate working with an open source product!
Hi James,

Did you try RapidMiner ? Any feedback ?

Best regards,
Jean-Charles.
@Stijn
Are you referring to the book titled "Data Mining: Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques" by Witten and Frank (authors of weka)?
Hi Stijn Vanderlooy,

of course you can also just take the Weka book "Data Mining: Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques" by Ian Witten and Eibe Frank and use it in combination with RapidMiner, since Weka is fully integrated into RapidMiner. This way you can get the best of both. ;^)

Have fun,
Ralf
