Title: Data Analyst

Location: San Leandro, CA

Duration: 12 + Months

Description:

Understand the business users’ requirements for information and communicate them to the rest of the data warehouse team;

Lead and conduct interviews with business users

Design and validate the logical data model

Assist in Data Mart Design and prototyping

Develop source and Client data mappings and transformation logic

Identify data quality problems, testing and validation;

Lead preparation of data warehouse requirements document

Lead Data mapping task;

Analyze existing reports;

Oversee testing of data acquisition processes and their implementation into production;

Act as consultant to the ETL and front-end programmers.

Assist in Data Modeling and ETL logic design

Prior experience in a Finance / Banking systems a big plus

Prior experience in data migration / consolidation a big plus

Informatica ETL & Oracle RDBMS – functional knowledge
