Data Intelligence, Business Analytics
I am very new to the analytics field, and as far as I can tell, SAS and R seem to be the go-to languages for analytics professionals.
However, I was wondering if there are any other languages that you have found to be especially useful, such as C++, C#, or Java, in your career.
Which programming languages are the most vital (beyond SAS and R)?

Generally, knowing a general purpose scripting language seems to be helpful with ETL and tying together multiple languages in an analysis. Also, sometimes R and SAS won't be available or won't be able to handle the volume of data you want, so you need to be able to sample and transform the data using a lower level language.
(Disclaimer: I am also VERY new to analytics and don't neccesarily know what I'm talking about, this is just based on my observations of what other's have said!)
