Will big data reveal 'glitches in the matrix' ?

Perhaps a bit of a philosophical question.

Say if hypothetically we could capture all of the data we as individuals produce daily (which is infinite IMO) could we reveal the 'abnormal' ? Such as "What" and "Why" ??

Or maybe i'm just crazy?
