Digitally evolved Senior Analyst to help map out the brave new world
You're fluent in the technologies that define our world and passionate about the way they're shaping our future. You understand analytics, how to get them and what they mean to the business world. A digital native actively involved in Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter, Delicious…. You have an opinion on the future of digital technology and you’re willing to voice that opinion.
This role is for a Senior Analyst, delivering insights, planning and classifying user behaviors and experiences for our online clients and their consumers.
The Role:
o Translating data into actual, actionable recommendations.
o Applying scientific method to analytics.
o Communicating findings to clients, partners and team members.
o Helping make sense of what’s going on and what to do next by using a diverse set of tools: from web analytics through to social analytics.
o Working in interdisciplinary teams.
o Taking responsibility for accuracy and business insights.
o Giving feedback and helping to guide the development of analysts, junior analysts, coordinators, and interns.
…and, from time to time, modeling and program development based on the requirements you gather.
Skills and Experience:
o An opinion on the Petersen line on cookies
o Able to describe the difference between a Unique Visitor and a Pageview
o Know what we mean by the word ‘scientific method’
o Have your own website where you actually try out new technologies.
o Know the difference between a KPI and a Metric.
o One of the following technologies: SPSS, JavaScript, SAS, MYSQL
o Bachelor or Graduate Degree in ONE of the following areas:
Revenue Management/Marketing Science, Economics (with preference for microeconomics majors), Political Science (with preference for Quantitative Methods/Electoral Behavior majors), Fine Arts, Psychology, or Philosophy (only those from a Logic/Computability background), Computer Science – or equivalent experience.

o Self-starter who values accuracy over precision
