Job Description

m:Pro is an integration platform; provides integration of information sources and applications. Initially, m:Pro will replace process book. m:Pro will provide the user a view of the process unit and Pi associated information (current and then historical), and allows for in-depth trending. Integration of other applications will follow in 2010

m:PRO Infrastructure and Integration Application Manager
is an important focal point in the management of information systems for Operations. This individual will help guide the architecture of the strategic site applications, integrating operations data with that from other parts of the sites’ organizations.

The m:pro Infrastructure and Integration Application Specialist will be a key player in the development of information management of change policies as they pertain to the m:pro platform and related information systems.

This individual will manage the configuration of all site based integrations via the m:pro integration tree and will serve as the Subject Matter Expert regarding integrations and advises on the creation, development and support of refinery-specific integrations, which requires a detailed knowledge of the site’s Refining Application Portfolio and Data Model.

In addition, this individual will collaborate with the other m:pro Infrastructure and Integration Application Managers within BP to determine the best approach for delivering site integration enhancements that can be replicated Globally across Refineries.

•Leveraging the m:pro platform for improved data governance and critical information visibility
•Recommend strategies for systems integration using advanced knowledge of m:pro architecture
•Quality control and implementation coordination for mro schematics development site-wide
•Liaison with representatives for site business-critical information systems (SAP, Documentum, eRTIS, PI, LIMS and others)
•Oversight of mro infrastructure processes
•Development of tools for automation and process improvement of data integration tasks
•User Training
•Troubleshooting Connectivity
•Configure and maintain site integration tree, including:
o Mapping between global taxonomies and local source system naming conventions (synonyms)
o Documentum and/or SharePoint Queries or Web Services Calls
o File imports for other DMS’ solutions (not MOSS 2007, SP2003 nor Documentum)
o Aggregation behavior for hierarchical taxonomies
•Maintain site integration data model governance
•Extend site’s logical data model utilizing the eRTIS 2.0 governance process
•Execute site integration enhancements, including configuring site integration tree to support new interfaces and data sources
•Maintain “gold copy” of schematics
•Support end users in creating content for m:exp based reports, trends and schematics
•Provide front-line training and support to end users for m:exp usage and eRTIS integration questions / issues
•Quality assurance
•Maintaining highest level of m:pro expertise

Requirements

•2 Year Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
•Minimum of 1 year Experience in Schematic Development
•Minimum of 2 years Experience with service oriented architecture
•Minimum of 2 years Data modeling and analysis
•Proven Experience with Application Integration
•Minimum of 2 years with Real-Time Process data Historians (OSI, Honeywell, or Emerson preferred).
