About MAHA’s Healthcare Value Platform
The Healthcare Value (HCV) platform is the newest addition to MAHA’s suite of analytic solution offerings. As healthcare costs continue to rise, the need to understand where value resides and how it can and should be captured is critical to healthcare payors and providers. Key agenda items on the minds of industry leaders include: ‘how can provider performance be measured?’, and ‘how can the industry improve the value of it’s spend?’ As a first step in this direction, MAHA is developing a scalable analytic solution around episode-based, bundled pricing that transforms the way physicians are compensated for managing a variety of patient conditions, thus creating accountability and incentives for delivering high quality and affordable care. Ultimately, the mission of the HCV platform is to leverage MAHA’s expertise in analyzing ‘big data’ to improve affordability, quality and service-levels in the healthcare system.
