Astellas is announcing a Senior Marketing Analytics Analyst role in our Deerfield, IL location.

Purpose & Scope:

The Senior Marketing Analytics Analyst is responsible for using and enhancing existing models to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing tactics, performing promotional response and ROI analyses, and using marketing mix models to optimize the allocation of promotional dollars across marketing tactics.

Essential Job Responsibilities:  

*Manipulates and cleans up data from different sources to make it usable for analysis and statistical models.  Summarizes data and identifies actionable insights.  Performs ad-hoc analyses
*Interacts with different vendors.  Communicates and verifies data requirements.  Standardizes promotional data acquisition and data processing
*Prioritizes work based on brand teams' needs.  Compiles the list of promotions, describes the promotions to be evaluated, develops analysis plans and research designs for estimating promotion impact.  Conducts analyses and prepares summary presentations tailored to the relevant audience
*Utilizes statistical software tools to assess key promotion success drivers through well constructed and accurate models and data
*Participates in cross-functional team environments and handles a variety of concurrent projects

Reports to Senior Marketing analytics manager
Collaborates closely with consumer marketing analytics
Collaborates closely with Marketing teams and Sales leaders
