SVP Marketing Science & Innovation

Responsibilities:

The Senior Vice President will report directly to the Chief Research Officer .The Senior Vice President will work with a high performance multi-disciplinary team to deliver high value market research analyses such as market segmentation, drivers analyses, price evaluation, marketing effectiveness (advertising & promotion) and media evaluation.

The Senior Vice President will serve as a leader for interacting with clients and client service teams towards developing strong client relationships and drive profitable growth. The Senior Vice President will have significant interaction with clients and must be comfortable and capable to communicate to people from the research manager to senior executive levels.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of proven experience in a highly consultative research environment
• Depth of experience selling & managing analytically driven research projects
• Ability to quickly develop research strategies that address key business issues and guide execution efforts
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage the mix of business development and project fulfillment (as appropriate)
• Ability to explain highly detailed and technical subject matter to non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to self-prioritize and manage a highly skilled 7 person team

The ideal candidate will have hands on analytical experience combined with strong consultation and presentation skills. They should have experience scoping analyses across multiple industries, including CPG, Media, Retail and Interactive. They will have demonstrated leadership skills and an active interest to mentor and develop a top-notch team. They are an innovator, hard working and personable.


Education:

BS or BA degree from an accredited institution. An advanced degree business or quantitative discipline is preferred.
