Responsibilities:

The Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President of Marketing Science but serve as the primary division leader supporting advance design and analysis for the OTX East Division.The Vice President will work within a high performance multi-disciplinary team to deliver high value market research analyses such as market segmentation, shopper insights, product evaluation, marketing effectiveness (advertising & promotion) and media evaluation.

This person will work with client service executives to support sales, service and delivery of high value analytical solutions to clients across a wide range of verticals spanning in the CPG, Retail and Media industries. The Vice President will have significant interaction with clients and must be comfortable and capable to communicate to people from the research manager to senior executive levels across multiple industries and product verticals.

Requirements
  • 7 or more years of proven experience in a highly consultative research environment
  • Depth of experience managing analytically driven research projects and supporting sales activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multivariate statistical techniques
  • Familiarity with or interest in advanced methods such as:
    • neural networks
    • genetic algorithms
    • agent based models
    • Bayesian belief systems
  • Ability to quickly develop research strategies that address key business issues and guide execution efforts
  • Team oriented, yet highly capable in a project leadership role
  • Ability to explain highly detailed and technical subject matter to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
The ideal candidate will have hands on analytical experience and strong presentation skills; project management experience within cross-functional teams is preferred. They should have experience scoping analyses in at least one of the following industries; CPG, Media, Retail and Interactive. They should also have the capability to capably link marketing science results to actionable business solutions They are an innovator, hard working and personable.

Education:

BS or BA degree from an accredited institution. An advanced degree business or quantitative discipline is preferred.
