Givens, Geof H. & Hoeting, Jennifer A. (2005) Computational Statistics. Wiley

Well written, so if you're unfamiliar with a topic it provides a good introduction to it. I'm not sure I'd try to code directly from it, but it has all the primary resource references you'd need.
