How to change your career aspirations to data analytic?

Hi All,

I am a software professional with six year of experience in IT product/services. Recently I have completed my MBA from Uni of Leeds and looking for a career change in data analytic. However, I feel that companies are looking for people with atleast 3-4 year of relevant experience. Could anybody in this group suggest me some ways for a fresher to approach this domain as a career aspiration?
