Have you ever tried to use Portable TeX ? I have downloaded and I wanted to use it, since I think it is an useful way to write in Tex without installing it in the hard disk of your PC or laptop. But I have a problem: I would like to install the packages from a local directory, that is, download most part of them and then store in a local directory from where I can install. Could you give me an advice? I have been looking for a solution in many websites but no success with the advices...
