Anomality Detection During Segmentation

Hi ,

I have to perform segmentation but I have some exception group that I don't want to loose its characteristics. But I need to take it out to discover new (may be less significant) groups .

If any way to do such a multi iterative segmentation ?

Any reference for this approach may be useful.
