Deploy your SAS models on the Amazon EC2 Compute Cloud

I thought that the SAS network group would be the right forum to push the envelope on predictive analytics and cloud computing!

SAS has long been a supporter of the Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML). Using the PMML standard, you now have a cloud computing option to deploy and manage SAS models, moving them into a scalable production environment ready for batch or real-time execution. SAS Enterprise Miner exports PMML for linear/logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, clustering, and association models (see complete list of supported modeling techniques). The Zementis PMML Converter converts older PMML files into the latest version 3.2 of the PMML standard.

Zementis recently launched its ADAPA predictive analytics scoring engine on the Amazon EC2 Compute Cloud. ADAPA provides a cost-effective Software as a Service (SaaS) model to deploy, manage, and integrate PMML-based models. Using SAS in conjunction with ADAPA enables a new way to deploy scoring solutions based on open standards and web services.
