This is very exciting news. PMML 4.0 has just been released by the DMG. PMML stands for Predictive Model Markup Language and it is the de facto standard to represent data mining models.

As a member of the DMG, SAS and other vendors (including Zementis, SPSS, Microstrategy, IBM) worked tirelessly in this new release of PMML.
