As you probably guessed, not all PMML files are perfect. Although some exported files are perfect (syntactically and semantically speaking), others are not. For this reason, the PMML Converter (available free of charge) can be used not only to co...

Data integration is a big part of putting your predictive models to work. ADAPA allows for easy model deployment, but how can you actually move data from, say, your database to ADAPA for scoring? One simple way is by using Jitterbit and its web se...

Many databases currently allow for data mining and analysis. SQL Server, for example, benefits from SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Oracle from Oracle Data Miner. MySQL users, on the other hand, have in general used tools such as R and ...

Hi Paul, I am not sure I understand your question fully. a. I am not very familiar with BPMN but I know it to be XML-based and so if OMG is looking for a way to represent trees, decision tables, and alike, probably PMML (which is also XML-based) ...

As you know PMML 4.0 has been released. There are many improvements to the standard, but I would like to emphasize that the ability to represent pre-processing in PMML has been enhanced quite a bit. New pre-processing features (as well as old) are...

Hi Alex,

Thank you so much for inviting me and starting PMML discussion. This is wonderful.

SPSS products export many PMML model types and consume them too.

Have a great day.
Svetlana.

Fair Isaac's Model Builder product supports the generation of PMML and their Blaze Advisor(tm) business rules management system is a valid consumer. Also I think Pegasystems can consume PMML as can Chordiant Decision Manager.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for starting this group. Hopefully we'll see some interesting discussions. Weka has only limited import support for PMML so far (three model types). My plans are to expand this in the near future and then move on to consider exporting PMML.

Cheers,
Mark.
