Comparing JAGS to BUGS
Has anyone with BUGS experience used JAGS (Just Another Gibbs Sampler)? I am writing some Bayesian models on a Mac, and I thought this might be a good way to supplement R. There is an R package called rjags that allows R to run JAGS. I was wondering if it was easy to port BUGS code to JAGS, and if books on WinBUGS [notably, Ntzoufras (2009)] are similar enough to substitute software packages.See More
