My company is formed as a LLC. No real tax benefit but there is a huge liability benefit. As a sole proprietor, if your business is sued they can come after your personal assets. To me this is a no brainer. Pay $250 to form an LLC or risk having som…

I also haven't used it much either. I think I've only been on here 2 or 3 times max. Seems like a good idea so I may try and get on here more often. I was doing a search for you and the analyticbridge site came up - the only reason I'm back on here.
I retired from the AF in May 08 and have been working at the Air Force Research Lab since. Just switched over to civilian in September. I've certainly been keeping busy.
Sorry to hear about the consulting slowing down. Are you trying to keep it going or looking for something else? I think the last time I talked with you, you were working at Good Sam Hospital.
I hate to come right out and ask, but your name came up (or at least I thought of your name) when someone asked me if I knew of anyone that could be an external reviewer for academic promotion for a statistician at the Air Force Institute of Technology for someone that specializes in experimental design. I guess they are having problems finding a non-academic reviewer. I don't know if you would be interested or not, but it could give you some contacts at AFIT for possible future use. If you would be willing to do it, I can get you in contact with the Department Head (Dr. Alan Lair) for the specifics. To be honest, I think it would be an easy review - he publishes in Journals such as JASA!
