Short Bio:

I've been in the recruiting industry for approximately 8 years. I've spent time in both the Contingency Staffing arena and the Corporate Recruiting environment, where I currently am now.

I began in administrative and light indistrial staffing before moving into some accounting, finance and legal recruiting, before finally making my way into the IT staffing arena.

Having spent time in both Staffing and Corporate worlds, they both have a plethora of knowledge to share and its ours to soak up. I enjoy the thrill of recruiting and the ups as well as the downs.

I pride myself on making the candidate experience both enjoyable and less stressful -- as this process is hard enough for job seekers -- they need to know that they are getting an honest and forthright experience. In my opinion, nothing is more important than honesty (no matter how brutal) and information sharing. It all comes back around to you in the end.

More than anything in all my jobs, I've enjoyed the opportunity to lead a team of recruiters, and to train/mentor new recruiters on how to effectively source, manage a workload, and to listen to candidates. This is a people business and we need to be ever-cognizant of that.

I recently achieved my CIR Certification from AIRS in 2007, and plan to take some other certifications in the near future.
