Short Bio:
Having just served a term as a Sr. Manager of Clinical Development in the medical device industry, I have transitioned to modeling analysis in the insurance industry. My hobbies include trap & skeet shooting, scuba diving, rugby, and rough-and-tumble games of backgammon (a typical statistician's playground). I am a member of the American Statistical Association, Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the American Physical Association, the American Mathematical Society, and the Mathematical Association of America. My scientific interests are only somewhat scattered and include stochastic processes (physics, biology, business), adaptive bayesian framework for clinical trials, and predictive modeling (particularly with respect to machine learning).
