Use of EMB's Emblem software in large datasets: Question in data reduction.

Wanted to field what actuaries and analysts in the field think about EMB's EMBLEM software and its use in large datasets. Having previously served as a Sr. Manager of Clinical Development in the medical device industry, and then transitioning to modeling analysis in the insurance industry, I am now serving as the senior Risk Management Advisor (analytics) in a banking Operational Risk group. I am completely blessed with family, including 3 children (ages 4, 2, and 10 months) and take my free time with them. My hobbies include trap & skeet shooting, scuba diving, rugby, and rough-and-tumble games of backgammon (a typical statistician's playground). I am a member of the American Statistical Association, Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the American Physical Association, the American Mathematical Society, and the Mathematical Association of America. My scientific interests are only somewhat scattered and include stochastic processes (physics, biology, business), predictive modeling (including geospatial predictive modeling), nonlinear medical biophysics.
