I've noticed that too about OReilly.  I've liked their programming books, especially on Python.  I was curious about their R books but haven't tried them yet.

What is most surprising is the numerous books from O'Reilly. These publishers are moving very fast into analytics, and offer very competitive prices and great books. I've also purchased many Dover books, and a few from Wiley.
