Hi All
Could anybody please let me know how to start with R-language. I want to learn it as it is an add-onn for many statistical softwares.
Thanks

Basically the way I learned is the following:
1) Download R on to your platform of choice (Linux, Windows, i.e.)
2) Open up the R console
3) Find an R tutorial on the internet. I've listed some here on this link. You can also try http://www.rseek.org and do a search for "tutorials" or "R tutorials"
4) Follow along with the R scripts and you will learn a great deal. Find some more advanced applications and learn along with those too.

Great question! I was looking into this myself. Actually, I was looking perhaps for a course but instead found some great books.

In my opinion, a good way to learn R is by using an R code generator and learning from observing the code. I learned R by using an add in called Rcmdr.
