Data Intelligence, Business Analytics
With the Summer Olympics starting this week in London, an estimated 10,500 athletes from 204 countries will gather to compete in 302 events within 26 sports. Every single one of these competitors has worked tirelessly to bring home the gold for their country and earn the honor of becoming a globally recognized Olympic champion in their sport.
While having world class skills is an important asset for any champion, the drive to compete and edge out their competition is critically important as well. Whether it’s synchronized diving, the 100 meter hurdles or any of the other events, an Olympic athlete’s personal “win” is to be the champion.
The same effort and belief is happening right now across the analytics industry as Talent Analytics, Corp. and the International Institute for Analytics continue to bring together a large sample of Analytics Champions as part of an Analytics Professionals research study.
Just as the Olympics offer the opportunity for world class athletes to compare themselves to the rest of the world in their particular discipline, the study offers a unique opportunity for world class and aspiring analytics organizations to compare their champions to the broader industry.
