How can I get the prediction of categorical independent variable to produce the prediction of dependent variable

I have fit a model with my historical data. Model fit is quite okay.. But I am not able to make a prediction of dependent variable without the set of independent variable. In the case of numerical independent variable I used some smoothed techniques. But bit problem with categorical independent variables. Could you please suggest me any idea.

Yeah, in the time of fitting the model I have split the all categorical data into respective dummy variables. If a categorical variable are with k categories then respective number of dummies are (k-1), used in formal method. Model is fitted well. But I want to prediction of those categorical variables.
