- I decided to pursue "applied science fiction" in high school. Since the job market wasn't big for time travelers or working on the Enterprise, I focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning and data mining as a fun area. I do like the applied part; solving problems for people and having the solutions get used.
I am actively looking, mostly for full time positions - but I have done independent data mining consulting over the last two years, and I am incorporated as Golden Data Mining.
I also like running, skiing, camping, listening to books and jazz among other things.
