Ya sure,

It essentially depends on the area you are working on.
If it is :
1. Finance-- Go for BSE, NSE,LSE websites - data is free and in abudance.
2. Development Economics/ consumer behaviour - NSS (for india) and get back to me for others.
3. Macroeconomics - IMF Database, RBI Website (database i mean), Bloomeberg (Not free), CMIE (Not for free thought again).

For anything specific , get back to me . Helps ???
