- Though beginning in Pure Mathematics I have been a Statistician for about 30 years now. I am interested in Statistical Modelling (especially mixture models) and Statistical Computing. I work in both Frequentist and Bayesian statistics, but I don't trust either if they don't agree! I live in New Zealand and teach at the University of Waikato. I have two sons, a Philosopher in Dublin and a Night Club Owner in Auckland.
